Health and Family Welfare

 

Like education, healthcare both curative and preventive is being provided at considerably wide and improved scale both in rural and urban areas. Data collected on number of medical institutions, hospital beds, technical personnel, treatment and operations of patients, vaccination and family welfare activities is given in this chapter.

Social Welfare

 

           Social welfare Department runs a number of centres for training for scheduled castes and other backward communities. They also give aid to weaker families on various accounts.
